Access Permissions
Your QC user is assigned to an organization, which determines access permissions. These permissions are defined per organization and control which applications and features are available to you in the QC Services UI.
If your QC user has access to both the Media Delivery and Service Provider workspaces, you can toggle between the workspaces.
For Users Assigned to Multiple Organizations
One of the organizations is your designated default organization. On login, you are automatically logged into your default. A dropdown menu appears at the top of the navigation pane. Use it to select a different organization.
The selected organization affects the following:
- Observability: The dashboards and reports display only the data relevant to the selected organization.
- Delivery Service Management: If you have access to Delivery Service Management, only the sites configured for the selected organization are available. If you create a new site, it will be available to all the users within the selected organization only.
- Certificate Management: If you have access to Certificate Management, the certificate manager exposes the certificates and templates created by users in the selected organization. If you create a new certificate or template, it will be available to all users within the selected organization only.
- API Keys: If you have access to API Keys, the API Keys list displays the API keys created by users in the selected organization. If you create a new API key, it will be valid for use only by users in the selected organization.
Note: For access to QC Services, please contact your account manager or email support@qwilt.com.
