The Cache Efficiency graph represents volume. For example, 90% cache efficiency means that 90% of the volume was served from the CDN, while 10% was proxied from the origin. This graph displays the percentage of all volume that was served directly from the cache. (This metric is not relevant to origins, so it's not displayed in the Origin report).
The following example shows the cache efficiency metric over the selected time period for each of the delegation targets selected for display in the report.
Peak efficiency is highlighted.
Hover over any part of the graph to see the breakdown by ASN or delegation target for that time increment. The graph increments are determined by the time period defined for the report.
The following example shows the cache efficiency for each delegation target from 2:15 to 2:20 on April 13th.
Click an ASN or delegation target in the Current selection chart to hide/show the metric for that ASN or delegation target.
In the following example, we've clicked four of the delegation targets to hide them so that we can focus on the metric for one delegation target.
