Media Delivery Documentation Release
The Qwilt Knowledge Base is now live!
The Knowledge Base features our Media Delivery documentation, with detailed content related to all media delivery configurations.
Two APIs are also included with this release:
- Purge API - to help guarantee content consistency between the origin and the CDN cache.
- FCI API - which provides real-time information about how much capacity is available on the Qwilt CDN within ISP networks and the Qwilt Global points of presence (POPs).
Both of these can be found at https://api-docs.qwilt.com.
Our documentation will be further enriched going forward - with additional content including best practices, limitations, tips and tricks, and more.
The Knowledge Base is now available to the public, and customers can log in with their QC credentials to access any additional content they need.
Log Pusher to Google Cloud Services (GCS)
The Log Pusher to Google Cloud Services (GCS) is now live. The Log Pusher to GCS ships logs to customers' GCS buckets at the customers’ Google Cloud accounts.
The Log Pusher to GCS automatically sends the log files to service providers and content providers who are enrolled in a log delivery service for their service or deployment.
You can learn more about the Log Pusher to GCS here.
Resolved Issues
- For Media/Site Delivery, when updating a certificate to a new certificate, the published UI shows it as a change.
- For Site/Media Self-Service, no purge-by-prefix specific message appears when purging by URL.
- For Media Self-Service, origin authentication in failover lists can now be edited.
- In Media Delivery, the UI for the conditional origin selection rule includes the entire origin selection capability.
- With Media/Site Self-Service, the toggable Origin Host Header Override field in the Origins list configuration can be toggled off. Users can save the edited Origins list, with the Origin Host Header Override being defined.
- In Media Delivery, CORS UI does not prevent setting Access-Control-Allow-Credential (ACAC) to true when Allow Origin Pattern(s) is set to "*".
